Rebirth is an animated film that takes us back to Egypt, in the historical period of The Middle Kingdom, a period known in the Egyptian history by his turbulence, seldom assassinations of his pharaohs, wars with the local tribes, etc. The lotus flower which is a symbol of the Egyptian Kingdom is withered because of the difficult condition in which the Kingdom was drowning. Inside one of the pyramids a small temple is found, dedicated to the principal god of Egypt, Horus. He oversees the difficult position of his country and with his right eye summons upon the gods of Egypt to gather inside the temple and save their country from its misery. The gods respond to the summoning and in their depersonalized forms gather inside the pyramid, where they unite their forces and raise the obelisk, the symbol of their united power. It fires a ray of light in the sky and it starts to rain. In Egypt, this is considered as a miracle, the lotus reincarnates so it can flourish again with its beauty. That puts a mark on the New Kingdom, the New Beginning. A true Rebirth.
